Jiun · 自運 · VD3B
Jiun (自運) is the calligrapher's word for writing from one's own invention. As a Shihan, Master Takase has a hand of her own, and these designs are that hand: she draws freely on the classic scripts to create exactly the look she wants.
信念 shinnen Faith
Faith: the conviction one holds to and lives by.
Master Takase creates this beautiful scroll when your order is placed, personally preparing the ink and brushing your art, which proudly bears her signature and seal. This is an original work of art.
Description
Faith in Japanese is 信念 which is read shinnen
信念 (shinnen): belief, conviction.
信念 is faith in the sense of conviction: a belief held firmly. It is the faith of a person who stands by what they believe. For faith in a god or a religion, Japanese uses 信仰 (shinkō).
The Japanese word shinnen meaning "Faith" is composed of the kanji 信 (read shin) meaning "faith; truth; fidelity" and 念 (read nen) meaning "wish; sense; idea".
This artwork makes a beautiful and inspirational gift reminding us of the central role faith has in our lives. This is also a particularly appropriate gift for a person named "Faith".
