Jiun · 自運 · VD6B
Jiun (自運) is the calligrapher's word for writing from one's own invention. As a Shihan, Master Takase has a hand of her own, and these designs are that hand: she draws freely on the classic scripts to create exactly the look she wants.

Description
Seven Virtues of Bushido in Japanese is 忠義礼誠名誉仁勇義 which is read chūgi rei makoto meiyo jin yū gi
忠義礼誠名誉仁勇義 (chūgi rei makoto meiyo jin yū gi): the seven virtues of bushidō, nine characters, seven words.
忠義礼誠名誉仁勇義 sets seven virtues side by side: loyalty, respect, honesty, honor, benevolence, valor and rectitude. Each one is a standard Japanese word for its virtue. 義, rectitude, is written twice: once on its own, and once inside 忠義, the word for loyalty. Which of bushidō's seven you hold closest is yours.
The seven virtues are the chapters of an English book, Bushido: The Soul of Japan (1900) by Nitobe Inazō 新渡戸稲造, which gives them no Japanese form. Their short Japanese names are his translators'; these seven, to the character, are the chapter titles of Yanaihara Tadao 矢内原忠雄's translation of 1938, as the National Diet Library catalogues it. This loyalty-first order is first seen on Takase Studios' own pages, in 2011; neither of the National Diet Library's two full-text indexes finds it in a book.
