申年 sarudoshi Year of the Monkey

The Japanese word 申年 meaning "Year of the Monkey" is composed of the kanji 申 (read saru) meaning "sign of the monkey" and 年 (read doshi) meaning "year". If you are looking for a design for the animal "monkey" then consider using 猿 Monkey (saru).
