Rat

(nezumi)

The Japanese word nezumi means "rat" and most commonly refers to the cute little four-legged furry creature. With the right context nezumi can also refer to the "Year of the Rat". However, if you are looking for "Year of the Rat" as a stand-alone design and want no possible ambiguity then consider using Year of the Rat (nezumidoshi).
