苦しんだ学んだ変わった is three verbs in the plain past: 苦しんだ kurushinda, suffered; 学んだ mananda, learned; 変わった kawatta, changed. There are no particles and no pronoun, since Japanese leaves the I to the speaker. The order is the sense: the hardship, then the lesson, then the person who came out of it. Japanese gives Caesar's veni, vidi, vici the same shape, 来た見た勝った.
