永遠の若さ eien no wakasa Forever Young

永遠 eien is eternity, の makes it an attribute, 若さ wakasa is youth, the noun of 若い, young, a word already in the chronicles of 720. This is the noun phrase, not the blessing may you stay forever young, and the noun is what the Japanese sources use: translators reached for 永遠の若さ when Plato's forms in Eucken, Rodin's models and Apollo's grief for Hyacinthus needed a word, from 1912 on, and a beauty manual borrowed it within the decade.
