1 Corinthians 13-13 Faith, Hope and Love

信仰と希望と愛 (shinkō to kibō to ai): faith, hope and love. The three stand in this order in every Bible, Japanese or English; the design takes them from the Japan Bible Society's colloquial translation of 1955, whose verse runs: the things that endure are faith, hope and love, these three, and the greatest of them is love. The classical Japanese Bible of 1917 had the same three words in the same order. The King James Version calls the third charity; the New International Version, which the title follows, calls it love.
