The Japanese word in'yō also translates as "cosmic dual forces; sun and moon" and is composed of the kanji 陰 (read in) meaning "yin; negative; dark; secret; shadow" and 陽 (read yō) meaning "yang; sunshine; positive; heaven". Yin and Yang (in'yō) describes the complementary nature of opposites.
