激怒 gekido Wrath

激怒 is rage or fury, anger at its most violent. It can also be a verb, to be furious. The everyday word for anger is 怒り (ikari).

The Japanese word 激怒 meaning "Wrath" is composed of the kanji 激 (read geki) meaning "violent; get excited; enraged" and 怒 (read do) meaning "angry; be offended".
