知恵 chie Wisdom

知恵 is wisdom: good sense, and the wit to use what you know. In Buddhism it is prajna, the insight that leads to enlightenment. It is also written 智恵 or 智慧.

The Japanese word 知恵 meaning "Wisdom" is composed of the kanji 知 (read chi) meaning "knowledge; wisdom" and 恵 (read e) meaning "favor; blessing; grace; kindness".
