The four-character idiom 武者修行 meaning "Warrior Training" is a Martial Arts term referring to the samurai tradition of travelling about to perfect one's skills by, for example, training at other schools. 武者修行 is composed of the words 武者 (read musha) meaning "warrior" and 修行 (read shugyō) meaning "pursuit of knowledge".
