勝利 shōri Victory

勝利 is victory, the win at the end of a contest. The winner is 勝利者 (shōrisha), and to win is 勝利を収める (shōri o osameru).

The Japanese word 勝利 meaning "Victory" is composed of the kanji 勝 (read shō) meaning "victory; win; prevail; excel" and 利 (read ri) meaning "advantage; benefit".
