勇 yū Valor

The Japanese word yū is a single kanji 勇 (read yū) and translates as "valor; bravery; courage; heroism". Valor (yū) is an important component of Bushido (bushidou), the Samurai Code of Chivalry, and is one of the Seven Virtues of Bushido.
