信頼 shinrai Trust

信頼 is trust: the confidence you place in someone you rely on. It can also be a verb, to trust a person. Trust between two people is 信頼関係 (shinrai kankei). Trust no one and trust in God are designs of their own, 誰も信じるな and 神を信ぜよ.

The Japanese word 信頼 meaning "Trust" is composed of the kanji 信 (read shin) meaning "truth; trust; faith; fidelity" and 頼 (read rai) meaning "trust; request".
