平穏 heion Tranquility

平穏 is calm and quiet, a time when nothing troubles the peace. It works as a noun and as a describing word. A peaceful life with no trouble is 平穏無事 (heion buji).

The Japanese word 平穏 meaning "Tranquility" is composed of the kanji 平 (read hei) meaning "peace; flat; even" and 穏 (read on) meaning "calm; quiet; moderation".
