牡牛座 oushiza Taurus

牡牛座 is Taurus, the Bull, as a constellation and as a star sign. It is also written おうし座, and one of these designs is written that way. Its brightest star is Aldebaran, and it holds the Pleiades, which Japanese calls 昴 (subaru).

The Japanese word 牡牛座 meaning "Taurus" is composed of the word 牡牛 (read oushi) meaning "bull" and the kanji 座 (read za) meaning "constellation".
