成功 seikō Success

成功 is success, in a task or in life. It can also be a verb, to succeed. A successful person is a 成功者 (seikōsha).

The Japanese word 成功 meaning "Success" is composed of the kanji 成 (read sei) meaning "turn into; become; get" and 功 (read kō) meaning "achievement; merits; success".
