蛇 hebi Snake

The Japanese word hebi translates as "snake" and is a single kanji word. With the right context hebi can refer to the "Year of the Snake". However, if you are looking for "Year of the Snake" as a stand-alone design and want no possible ambiguity then consider using Year of the Snake (hebidoshi).
