罪人 tsumibito Sinner
More about 罪人
罪人 is one who has done wrong. In Christian use it names every person, since all bear original sin. Read zainin, the same kanji mean a criminal, one who has broken the law.
The Japanese word 罪人 meaning "Sinner" is composed of the kanji 罪 (read tsumi) meaning "guilt; sin; crime" and 人 (read hito) meaning "person". Together they are read tsumibito, because the sounds change where the characters meet: 人 hito becomes bito after 罪.
