葉隠 (hagakure)

葉隠 is the name of a book by Yamamoto Tsunetomo an 18th century retainer on his views of the warrior code and the role of the samurai and bushido in a time of relative peace. 葉隠 is composed of the kanji (read ha) meaning "leaves" and (read gakure) meaning "to hide; to conceal".
