学者 gakusha Scholar

学者 is a person whose work is study and research, a scholar or a scientist. It also names anyone of deep learning, whatever their work.

The Japanese word 学者 meaning "Scholar" is composed of the kanji 学 (read gaku) meaning "study; learning; science" and 者 (read sha) meaning "someone; person".
