救世主 kyūseishu Savior

救世主 is a savior or messiah, the one who comes to save the world. In Christian writing it is the Messiah, Jesus Christ.

The Japanese word 救世主 meaning "Savior" is composed of the kanji 救 (read kyū) meaning "salvation; save; help", 世 (read sei) meaning "generation; world; society", and 主 (read shu) meaning "lord; chief; master".
