Realize Your Dreams

夢実現 (yume jitsugen)

夢実現 (yume jitsugen): realize your dreams, a dream made real. 夢 (yume) is a dream, here in the sense of a hope one means to bring about, and 実現 (jitsugen) is realization, the making-real of a thing, the noun the language uses for a plan carried out or a hope fulfilled. Together they are 夢の実現 with the particle dropped, the way a headline or a poster compresses a phrase, and a Japanese reader reads it as a poster is read: a slogan, direct and modern, with nothing classical about it. That is its register and its strength; it says the thing plainly. Realize your dreams is the English of the same century, and the two match in tone as in sense. 夢実現 is composed of the words (read yume) meaning "dream; dreams" and 実現 (read jitsugen) meaning "to realize; to make happen".

Verify: 夢実現 in the Japanese-English Dictionary

This design is a constant reminder of the importance of working towards making your dreams a reality.
