獅子座 shishiza Leo

獅子座 is Leo, the Lion, as a constellation and as a star sign. It is also written しし座, and one of these designs is written that way. In Buddhist writing the same word names the seat of the Buddha.

The Japanese word 獅子座 meaning "Leo" is composed of the word 獅子 (read shishi) meaning "lion" and the kanji 座 (read za) meaning "constellation".
