正義 seigi Justice

正義 is justice: what is right and fair. A sense of justice is 正義感 (seigikan). A champion of justice, the hero who stands for what is right, is 正義の味方 (seigi no mikata).

The Japanese word 正義 meaning "Justice" is composed of the kanji 正 (read sei) meaning "correct; justice; righteous" and 義 (read gi) meaning "righteousness; justice; morality".
