来た見た勝った kita mita katta I came, I saw, I conquered

来た見た勝った is three verbs in the plain past with nothing between them: 来た kita, came; 見た mita, saw; 勝った katta, won. Japanese leaves the I to the speaker, so three words carry the whole sentence. The Japanese dictionaries give this same line.

This same line is the one on the design.

The line renders veni, vidi, vici, the three words in which Julius Caesar reported his victory over Pharnaces of Pontus at Zela in 47 BC, which Plutarch has him write to a friend in Rome and Suetonius has carried on a placard in his triumph.
