健康 kenkō Health

健康 is health, and as a describing word it means healthy, sound and fit. Someone in perfect health is 健康そのもの (kenkō sono mono), the picture of health.

The Japanese word 健康 meaning "Health" is composed of the kanji 健 (read ken) meaning "healthy; health; strength; persistence" and 康 (read kō) meaning "ease; comfort; peaceful".
