恵 megumi Grace

恵 is grace in the sense of a blessing, such as the grace of God. Dictionaries write the word both ways, 恵 and 恵み, and this design writes the character alone. A welcome rain after a long dry spell is 恵みの雨, a rain of grace. For grace as in graceful movement, Japanese uses 優雅 (yūga).
