More about 父母

父母 is a father and a mother together, your two parents. The same kanji can also be read fubo. A school's parents' group is a 父母会 (fubokai).

The Japanese word 父母 meaning "Father and Mother" is composed of the kanji 父 (read chichi) meaning "father" and 母 (read haha) meaning "mother".
