白鳩 shirohato Dove

白鳩 is a white dove. It is written with white and 鳩 (hato), because Japanese uses the one word 鳩 for both the dove and the pigeon.

The Japanese word 白鳩 meaning "Dove" is composed of the kanji 白 (read shiro) meaning "white" and 鳩 (read hato) meaning "pigeon; dove".
