愛息 aisoku Beloved Son

愛息 is a beloved son. It is often said of someone else's son, with warmth. A parent speaking of their own son may say 愛息子 (manamusuko).

The Japanese word 愛息 meaning "Beloved Son" is composed of the kanji 愛 (read ai) meaning "love; affection" and 息 (read soku) meaning "son".
