The Japanese phrase "kami wo shinjiru" meaning "Believe in God, Trust in God" is composed of the words %90_ (read kami) meaning "God" and the verb %90M%82%B6%82%E9 (read shinjiru) meaning "trust in, believe in".
Notice that Japanese often omits the subject when it is clear. The natural interpretation of "kami wo shinjiru" is "I believe in God" as well as the more general "Believe in God".
