合気 aiki Aiki

The Japanese word 合気 is composed of the kanji 合 (read ai) meaning "join; meet" and 氣 (read ki) meaning "spirit". Aiki is a martial arts principle that focuses on the combining energy rather than the clashing of energy. One example is the principle of using an opponent's strength against them.
