About the Designs
More about 新たな始まり
新た arata, new, is in the Man'yōshū; な makes it an attribute; 始まり hajimari is the noun of to begin. A noun phrase, so it reads as a title, and the library holds it on one page before its corpus ends, a philosopher's Feuerbach of 1948, where logic is a new beginning. It is the house's plain Japanese for the English, made for a card, a wedding or a new year, and it says exactly what the English says.
Each design is Master Japanese Calligrapher Eri Takase's hand-brushed calligraphy of the word or phrase on this page, delivered as a PDF you can print. Every PDF includes the line art, so a tattoo artist or a craftsperson can work from the outline as well as the brushed image.
Delivery
Your PDF is available for download the moment your order completes, and a copy is attached to your emailed receipt.
